Perkiomen Valley Booster Clubs

The Perkiomen Valley School District recognizes the existence and appreciates the efforts of community-based Booster Clubs.  Such clubs provide assistance to athletic programs, and parents and community members work diligently on behalf of PVSD student-athletes.  Only those Booster Clubs operating under by-laws approved by the school board will be recognized by the school district and be permitted to use the school district name.

Boosters Clubs have no authority or control over any aspect of the athletic or activity programs in the Perkiomen Valley School District.  Coaches may choose to associate themselves with these organizations, however, in no way is membership seen as part of a coach’s duties.

Fund-raisers and other activities conducted by booster clubs must be approved by the high school administration and notification given to the athletic department.  Booster Clubs must complete required Request for Fundraising Activity forms in advance of any fundraising events. In addition, Booster Clubs are required to file for an Employer Identification Number (EIN) and 5013C status.  In addition, clubs must submit an financial report to the superintendent at the conclusion of their sports season.
